Calibrite ColorChecker Grey Balance

The ColorChecker Gray Balance is the largest gray balance chart in the range. It is the same size as the ColorChecker Classic, 215.9 x 279.4mm.

Using the ColorChecker Gray Balance chart to measure the exposure of a reflective point gives you the confidence that your images will be exposed in the best possible way. The ColorChecker Gray Balance chart is the broad version of the 18% reflectance gray reference panel of the standard ColorChecker 24 patch chart. The grey is scientifically developed to provide a uniform, accurate and spectrally neutral surface (i.e. it reflects equal amounts of red, blue and green) under all types of lighting conditions.

You can use the ColorChecker Gray Balance chart in many situations:

Digital photography: exposure metering and grey balance. You can adjust the colour sensitivity of your digital camera to accurately reflect the ambient lighting conditions.

Film photography: checking film, lighting, filters and paper

Cinematography (television and video): check grey balance through camera, lighting and film settings.
