Natural skin tones, smooth skin and bokeh effect
Colors and textures of human skin and foliage are rendered consistently, even in unfavorable light conditions. Gradation rendering has also been refined for better skin tones and smoother transitions to highlights in portraits, while the Smooth Skin effect reduces fine lines and blemishes and clarifies contour eyes and mouth. If you want to make your main subject stand out, tap the Bokeh button to create impressive full-frame background bokeh.

Stabilization in dynamic active mode
The high-precision stabilization unit and gyro sensors built into the vlog device, together with optimized image stabilization algorithms, allow advanced electronic stabilization to work in concert with the optical image stabilization system at 5-axis camera in a new dynamic active mode. This dynamic active mode is approximately 30% more efficient than the active mode offered by previous models. Create memorable footage with Cinematic Vlog setting
The Cinematic Vlog setting lets you create feature-length scenes intuitively. Simply choose a look and feel (Look and Mood options) and autofocus transition speed to create cinema-quality vlog footage that perfectly suits your scene and creative approach. The Cinematic Vlog setting includes "Look" options such as S-Cinetone which enhances skin tones, "Mood" options which favor specific colors, and AF Transition Speed which determines how quickly with which autofocus moves from subject to subject. Cinematic rendering is enhanced by the use of a 24fps frame rate and a widescreen (2.35:1) cinemascope aspect ratio with black bands above and below the frame. 'picture.

Stable real-time tracking
The ZV-E1's AI-powered real-time tracking lets you focus on framing and composing your shot. The subject recognition system has significantly improved performance, ensuring more reliable tracking as soon as the function is activated and making it more useful in a greater number of shooting situations. The device can even accurately detect and track people wearing helmets or masks, or animals from behind, in real time.

Automatic AI-based video framing
Using AI-based subject recognition technology, Auto Framing automatically crops the image to keep the subject in the foreground when recording movies. The framing is constantly adjusted so that the recorded sequences give the impression that the subject is being followed by an experienced cameraman, even when the camera is mounted on a tripod. In addition to the device automatically recognizing the subject and initiating tracking, it is possible to select any other subject by touching it on the device screen or on the Creators' App. from a smartphone.

Eliminate image shifts when focusing
The camera also offers a "focus breathing" compensation function, which limits changes in the angle of view caused by changes in lens focus, which can occur when focusing in video mode. Product presentation function for product testing
The Product Presentation feature makes it easy to shoot product presentation videos. Multiple Face Recognition
This feature allows the camera to automatically adjust bokeh and focus on multiple recognized faces in group shots. Since no manual aperture adjustment is necessary, you can keep pace and capture natural expressions.

Creative zoom control
The zoom wheel on top of the grip not only controls compatible motorized zoom lenses, but also enables Clear Image Zoom to be used with non-motorized zoom lenses and prime lenses with little image degradation. Real-time AF recognition, real-time tracking, and focus-area settings remain active during digital zooms or with Clear Image Zoom, ensuring an advanced phase-detection autofocus system. accuracy and speed, even when using digital zoom.

Slow and fast function

3-capsule smart microphone
The ZV-E1 features a high-performance three-capsule microphone with variable directivity, capable of picking up crystal-clear sound in outdoor conditions where wind and ambient noise are sometimes problematic. This microphone is designed to clearly capture the voice of your main subject and allows you to set the polar pattern to Forward, Backward, All Direction or Auto, depending on your shot.

Advanced Video Recording Modes: 4:2:2 10bit
The ZV-E1 can internally record 4:2:2 10-bit video using Long GOP or All-Intra compression, producing richer, more natural gradations with increased editing freedom.

S-Gamut3.Cine/S-log3 and S-Gamut3/S-log3
S-Log3 offers better reproduction of gradations from shadows to midtones (18% gray). Color spaces include S-Gamut3, which offers even more efficient color reproduction than S-Gamut, and S-Gamut3.Cine, a color space designed to look like digitized cinema film. The combination of S-Gamut3.Cine, which has a slightly wider color gamut than DCI-P3 digital cinema, and S-Log3 makes color grading easier for DCI-P3 or 709 video color space .

Image profile with imported LUT files
Custom LUT files (.cube format) can be imported into the device and assigned to picture profiles. This makes it easier to use LUTs to create specific looks when shooting in modes other than the preset looks. The look is saved in-camera, reducing or even eliminating color correction in post-production.

Flexible ISO mode provides greater freedom in exposure adjustment
Flexible ISO mode is an S-Log3 shooting mode that allows the ISO sensitivity to be changed according to the brightness of the scene, while manually adjusting the aperture and shutter speed. ISO sensitivity can be set to AUTO or manually between 640 and 102,400 (160 and 409,600 in extended ISO mode) as needed to ensure optimal exposure.

Simple operation for stress-free filming
The positioning of the main controls as well as the adjustable LCD screen opening on the side have been designed to facilitate taking selfies and making vlogs. The LCD screen makes it easy to check framing when shooting from any angle, while the REC button, Photo/Video/Slow-motion dial, custom buttons, and other controls on the camera's top panel apparatus have been arranged for easy access and use.

Intuitive touch operation
Touch function icons, which appear at the top of the screen by swiping across the left/right edge of the screen, control shooting mode, Cinematic Vlog setting and more. The function menu (Fn) is displayed by swiping the screen upwards. Touch control icons for exposure compensation and white balance have been added to the F value, shutter speed and ISO icons at the bottom of the screen.

Handy Features for Confident Capture
Shoot with confidence using the ZV-E1's many useful functions. Among them, a recording indicator located on the front of the device allows you to check if a recording is in progress. The ZV-E1 also features a self-timer for recording videos, with a clearly visible countdown indicator in the center of the screen, to record only the necessary footage.

Optional accessories for vlogging in the best conditions
Enhance the sound of your vlog by adding an optional external microphone, which easily plugs into the ZV-E1's microphone jack. In addition, the GP-VPT2BT camera grip with wireless remote control (optional) allows you to operate the camera with one hand without difficulty. Environmentally friendly packaging
The outer packaging of the ZV-E1 uses "Sony's original mixed material", consisting of bamboo, sugar cane and recycled paper. It does not contain plastic. This special material makes it possible to produce high quality and durable recyclable packaging with a low environmental impact.

The ZV-E1 offers built-in 4K recording at up to 120fps. 5x (max.)5 slow-motion images in QFHD resolution with autofocus unlock new spaces for expression. In XAVC S format, slow motion up to 10x in Full HD resolution is possible at 240fps (24p recording), bringing new perspectives to dynamic sports and other types of action.
