This kit includes three rugged, lightweight plastic foot plugs that replace the lower four sections of each tripod leg. Once these sections are removed and the plugs installed, your tripod becomes half the original weight, while still extending up to 57.2 cm (22.5").

No tools required: installation is fast and effortless, allowing you to switch to ultralight mode in seconds, even while on the go.

Compatible with Carbon and Aluminum Models

The Ultralight Conversion Kit is compatible with both carbon fiber and aluminum versions of the Peak Design Travel Tripod. Please note: the tripod is sold separately.
