From super-telephoto to telemacro, the ED 150–400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS PRO covers a wide range of shooting from 150mm to 500mm (300mm- 1000mm*). Not only can it zoom in close on far-away subjects, the focal length can be adjusted to suit your shooting needs, resulting in exactly the composition you have in mind. For capturing nature’s creatures and flora, the minimum focusing distance of 1.3 metres and a magnification of 0.36x (0.71x*) are ideal. This lens also supports Focus Stacking.

Optimal controls for handheld shooting
Focus on your subject and shooting while changing settings smoothly. The M.Zuiko Digital ED 150–400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS PRO super-telephoto is equipped with controls. These include a rubberized zoom/focusing ring for fine control, a pre-set focus memory for saving your favourite focal position, a switch for changing between several functions, and a Focus Limiter switch, which lets you quickly move between 3 levels of autofocus.

Robust magnesium alloy combines with lightweight carbon fibre reinforced plastic to maintain strength and control. The inner zoom system and focusing system remains the same length throughout the zoom range to ensure the lens balance is always stable.

Olympus-renowned dustproof, splashproof and freezeproof sealing to the IPX-1 standard is also a given with this Pro lens. On the front lens is the Fluorine coating, which makes the smooth surface harder to scratch and easier to wipe off. The white heat-resistant coating reflects infrared sunlight, keeping optical performance consistently high even in hot temperatures.
