The ultra-compact Ranger LS-223C carbon tripod is part of Leofoto's "Ranger" series of travel tripods. These lightweight tripods are designed to provide good stability in all circumstances, while being easy to transport. They are particularly aimed at outdoor photographers. Leofoto's Ranger LS-223C is the lightest and most compact of the Ranger series. In addition to its LH-25n ball head, this carbon tripod comes with a carrying bag and a multi-tool kit. It has a ten year warranty.

Carbon tripod, light and compact.
Made up of 10 layers of cross-woven and reinforced carbon fiber, the Ranger LS-223C guarantees strength and lightness. Its maximum unfolded height is 38 cm with its ball joint. A central column (sold separately) can be screwed in to gain height. Conversely, its minimum height is only 10.5 cm: ideal for example for macro at ground level. Folded up, it measures only 27 cm with the LH-25 ball head, which allows you to take it everywhere with you. Weighing 720g (without the ball joint), it can support up to 10 kilos.

Tripod without central column
The LS-223C tripod has a plate made of aircraft aluminum with a 3/8' screw. The carbon tripod legs consist of 3 flexible sections and have a maximum diameter of 22mm. They unfold and fold up thanks to their ‘Twist-lock’ locking system: you just have to turn the locking screw. Each foot has a rubber tip, which can be replaced with stainless steel spikes (supplied separately) to ensure a solid grip for outdoor shooting.

LH-25 Ball Head
The ultra-compact and very strong LH-25 ball head from Leofoto comes with the LS-223C carbon tripod. Crafted from black anodized aircraft aluminum for durability, its Arca-Swiss PU-25 quick connect plate allows you to quickly mount your camera to the tripod head. The adjustment knobs allow you to install the head horizontally, which can rotate 360 degrees. The fine graduated scale on the tripod plate allows you to precisely adjust the ball head. The friction of the 25mm ball can be adjusted separately with a wing nut and it can tilt 90 degrees for vertical shots. This tripod head can support up to 6 kilos.
