The NOKTON 28 mm F1.5 aspherical was developed exclusively for Sony E-mount cameras and tailored to full-format image sensors. Thanks to electronic contacts, it offers advanced functions such as correcting vignetting directly via the camera. In addition, lens data is recorded in the Exif information, which makes post-processing easier.

The name NOKTON has stood for Voigtländer lenses with a large aperture since the 1950s - designed at the time for shooting in poor lighting conditions. Today, the focus is on the creative use of bokeh and limited depth of field. With a maximum aperture of F1.5, the NOKTON 28 mm F1.5 aspherically enables impressive blur effects and precise isolation of the subject.

The built-in distance sensor harmonizes with cameras that have 5-axis image stabilization and provides precise distance information to support stabilization. In addition, turning the focus ring activates a viewfinder magnification for convenient manual focusing.

The optical construction comprises ten lens elements in eight groups and, despite the large aperture of F1.5, achieves a compact design with a length of just 55 mm. The aspherical lenses ensure excellent sharpness and resolution - even at full aperture. The minimum focusing distance is 0.28 m and allows for a wide range of applications from close-ups to landscape and architectural photography.

The NOKTON 28 mm F1.5 aspherical relies on manual focusing, supported by a precise metal focus ring with a non-slip diamond structure. The focus mechanism is stable enough for use with professional focusing aids, for example when recording videos.
