Voigtländer Super Wide Heliar 4.5/15mm Z Mount

The Voigtländer 15mm F4.5 Super Wide Heliar Aspherical Z-Mount is a high-performance manual focus super wide-angle lens optimized for the full-frame image sensors of Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras (Nikon FX format). The lens is based on the well-known 15mm F4.5 lens with VM or Sony mount.

The Super Wide Heliar has extremely low distortion and enables sharp images to the edge despite its super wide viewing angle of 110° (diagonal). 11 lens elements in 9 groups form the optical unit, framed in a metal tube with handy controls. The optical construction has been designed as best as possible to correct the angle of the incident light rays. This prevents color casts at the image periphery, which can be caused by the structure of digital image sensors.

The close-up limit is 12.6 cm at a working distance of approx. 4 cm (measured from the tip of the lens hood) and thus offers interesting perspectives. The lens hood can also be removed using a small, flat screwdriver (not supplied), e.g. to work with rectangular filters.
