Voigtländer Nokton 1,0/50mm for Nikon Z

Fast, high-performance standard lens for Nikon Z-mount cameras (Nikon FX format).

The Voigtlander 50mm F1.0 Nokton Aspherical Z-Mount is a high-performance manual focus standard lens optimized for the full-frame image sensors of Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras (Nikon FX format). The lens is based on the well-known 50mm F1.0 lens with VM mount, but has electronic contacts to communicate with the camera body (*).

A development goal was, in addition to the very large aperture and excellent imaging performance, also a compact design. This was achieved by using a specially ground front lens made of glass material with a high refractive index (Grinding Aspherical Lens). Thus, the lens configuration could be simplified without sacrificing image quality and the length of the lens was limited to 66.6 mm. In addition, floating elements are used, i.e. a certain group of lenses is placed in the optimal position depending on the shooting distance in order to ensure consistently clear and uncompromising image sharpness at all times.

This high level of technical effort is reflected in the top image quality and gives the user a wide range of image design options. The sharpness is convincing right into the edge areas, the large bokeh with an open aperture is impressive and the rich handling is simply fun when taking photographs. A real tool for the photography enthusiast!

A lens hood is included in the scope of delivery, which can also be attached upside down on the lens when not in use.
