Voigtländer Heliar 40mm f/2.8 asph. VM Black

The 40 mm F2.8 Heliar aspherical VM is a compact and universal lens with a configuration of five lenses in three groups, based on the traditional Voigtländer Heliar design.

In addition to its ultra-compact design, one of its highlights is the elegant and precisely manufactured focusing lever, which can also be fixed with a snap-in mechanism. With an overall length of 21.2 mm (VM bayonet mount), the lens itself remains pleasantly compact on the camera and does not protrude into the viewfinder. Reproduction performance is convincing, even at full aperture, with very good sharpness even in marginal areas, the shortest shooting distance being 0.7 m. The 40 mm F2.8 Heliar aspherical VM is presented in a retro style on the outside, but with a very modern optical design on the inside!

The weight is 131 g (VM mount). A lens hood and a hood cover are included in the delivery. Both fitting versions are available in black or silver (the parasol and bell cover are only available in black - even for the silver variant).
