The elaborate optical construction consists of 8 groups with 10 lenses, two of which are double-sided aspherical elements, two with abnormal partial dispersion and floating elements. Compared to the E-Mount version, however, the VM version is significantly shorter and 20% lighter. In addition, the 12 diaphragm blades not only form a circular aperture at F2.0 and F2.8, but also at F5.6, which allows circular bokeh from a point light source. From a grip point of view, the new lens convinces with the fine build quality to which Voigtländer has accustomed us, and also with outstanding performance in all respects.

The APO-Lanthar Voigtländer 50mm / 1: 2.0 Aspherical VM is optimized for M-mount cameras, but can also be used on Fujifilm X-mount cameras and Nikon Z-mount models, and all thanks to the various adapter rings available on the market.
