The lenses of the NOKTON series always shine with a large aperture of F1.5 or smaller. But the new Nokton 50 mm F1.0 aspherical VM sets a new standard!

It is a completely new standard lens for full-frame cameras with a Leica M-mount, and it has some special features.
Lightweight lenses are often very powerful in their design. Therefore, one of the development goals was to achieve a compact barrel in addition to the very large aperture and excellent imaging performance.

This was achieved through the use of a specially ground front lens made of a high refractive index glass material (aspherical grinding lens). This allowed the lens configuration to be simplified without sacrificing image quality, and the length of the lens could be limited to 55 mm. In addition, floating elements are used, which means that a specific group of lenses is moved to the optimal position depending on the shooting distance in order to guarantee constant and uncompromised image sharpness at all times.

This significant technical effort results in superior image quality and gives the user a wide range of options for image composition. The sharpness performance is convincing right down to the peripheral areas, the exceptional bokeh at full aperture inspires and the rich handling makes photographic work simply fun. A real tool for photography enthusiasts!

The shortest shooting distance is 0.9m (depending on the camera used), and the weight is 484g. A lens hood, which can be attached to the lens upside down when not in use, is included in the package.

The Voigtländer 50mm F1.0 Nokton aspherical VM is available exclusively in black. With the appropriate adapter rings it can also be used with Sony E-mount, Fujifilm X-mount and Nikon Z-mount digital cameras.
