The 35-150mm F/2-2.8 Di III VXD (model A058) is a travel zoom lens that is distinguished by its particularly high resolution capability. It covers the most common focal length range from 35 mm wide angle to 150 mm telephoto and is the first zoom lens of its kind with an f/2 aperture. It is suitable for all situations in travel photography - from landscapes and architecture to portraits and group photos to everyday snapshots, including scenes with low light. Equipped with fast and accurate autofocus with VXD linear technology, the 35-150mm F/2-2.8 allows you to freeze the moment with great clarity. This unrivalled combination of wide focal length, high light output and innovative technology enhances creative freedom.

Features and functions

Spectacular close-up shots
At the 35mm wide-angle position, the minimum focusing distance is only 0.33m, which corresponds to a maximum magnification of 1:5.7. The large aperture provides excellent background blur. The combination of a short focusing distance and high brightness makes it possible to take many creative close-up shots.

All focal lengths in one lens
With the 35-150mm F/2-2.8, users have more creative possibilities. The bright lens covers the focal length range from 35 mm wide angle to 150 mm telephoto. This means that a range of different shooting angles can be achieved in one place - ideal for expanding all creative possibilities. At 150mm at F/2.8, impressive portraits are achieved with perfect sharpness and an exceptional bokeh effect. At 85 mm, photos take on an even more intimate quality due to the close proximity to the subject. 50 mm and 35 mm are classic focal lengths for landscape, reportage and street photography.

Customisation with the TAMRON Lens Utility software.
The lens is compatible with the new TAMRON Lens Utility software, which was developed by Tamron for the configuration of its new lenses. When the 35-150mm F/ 2-2.8 Di III VXD is connected to a computer via a separately available USB-C cable, various functions can be configured and the lens' firmware can be updated.

New design for greater ease of use
It's not just the lens' internal technology that's innovative, but also the outer shell. The design of the 35-150mm F/2-2.8 foreshadows future Tamron lenses. The focus ring and zoom ring offer improved magnability. In contrast to previous models, the lens barrel also has a glossy surface that is particularly resistant to scratches and dirt.

TAMRON LENS UTILITY
The new software "TAMRON Lens Utility", has been specially developed by Tamron to configure its own compatible lenses. TAMRON Lens Utility can be operated using computer by connecting the lens from its Connector Port via the optional TAMRON Connection Cable. Users can customize the functions and update the firmware through the lens. The personal customization gives flexible shooting options to match the shooting situation such as still photography or videography. With the help of the personal configuration, the lens can be optimally adapted to the respective shooting situation, for example photo or video.
