With SLD glass and four double-sided aspherical elements, this lens eliminates axial chromatic aberration and sagittal coma, ensuring crisp, high-resolution images even wide open at F1.2. Bokeh remains smooth and natural without color smearing or double edges.

Optimized for photo and video

Focus breathing is kept to a minimum, making this lens as capable in professional video as it is in photography. Flare and ghosting are effectively controlled for clean, sharp images even in backlit conditions.

Fast, silent dual HLA autofocus

The dual HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) system drives two focus groups independently, ensuring fast, accurate, and quiet AF, ideal for spontaneous shooting and video recording.

Crafted in Aizu, Japan, the lens combines aluminum, magnesium, and TSC for durability and lightness.
