Compared to the previous SIGMA 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN | Art, the SIGMA 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN II | Art offers better resolving power throughout the zoom range, and also benefits from functional improvements such as the addition of an aperture ring and high-speed autofocus thanks to a redesigned AF motor, the HLA (High-response Linear Actuator). Although the number of optical elements used in its construction is the same as the previous model, the overall length has been reduced thanks to an advanced optical formula.
