Sharpness at any distance
The sharpness is exceptional throughout the frame. Nikon's ED and Super ED glass lenses reduce chromatic aberration from the center to the edges of the image, even when shooting at full aperture or at close range.

Perfect focus
Thanks to the powerful Vibration Reduction system that saves 5.5 shutter speeds, you can take hand-held photos at slower shutter speeds without sacrificing sharpness. The minimum focus distance is only 0.75m at the wide-angle end of the focal range and 0.98m at full extension.
