Stunning street photos in an unpretentious format
The NIKKOR Z 26mm f/2.8 is so discreet, it reinvents the very concept of discretion. With a weight of around 125g and an approximate length of only 23.5mm, you'll hardly notice the presence of this prime lens. Whether you're shooting street scenes or situational portraits, your subjects won't be intimidated by the size of your lens, even if they notice it.

Versatile 26mm focal length
The wide 26mm focal length lets you shoot photos and videos that show the scene in its entirety. You can also shoot in confined spaces to reveal original perspectives. If it's the small details that grab your attention, take advantage of this lens' close focusing distance to get closer and focus with the camera just 20cm from your subject.

Stunning wide shots
Thanks to the large Z mount's impressive ability to gather light and a maximum aperture of f/2.8, you can capture the special atmosphere of dark scenes with clarity and sharpness. You can also use faster shutter speeds to capture the action without sacrificing brightness. Bokeh can be accentuated at closer distances, providing artistic background blur.

Wear it with a sunshade
Even the included lens hood doesn't weigh down this ultrathin 26mm lens. You can even leave it on the lens to protect the front lens without it preventing you from slipping it into your bag. The 52 mm filters that you can also attach to the lens hood will allow you to give free rein to your creativity.

Designed to travel
The NIKKOR Z 26mm f/2.8 may be the thinnest full-frame wide-angle lens in Nikon's Z lineup, but its metal lens mount gives it great sturdiness. The barrel and all moving parts are also sealed to protect the lens from dust and water droplets.¹

Amazing video footage
Do you post vlogs, or is it a good time for video? This ultrathin full-frame lens will rise to the occasion. Thanks to its wide angle of view and the elimination of focus-breathing, your video sequences will not disappoint you. Take advantage of the versatility of this lens, from wide shots to interviews that create a real sense of space.

Improvise and have fun!
The moment may be fleeting, but this bright, ultrathin 26mm lens gives you total creative control. Take advantage of the fluid and customizable control ring to adapt the lens to the way you shoot: you can use it for sensitivity, aperture control, exposure compensation, and more.
