Nikon Nikkor Z 70-180mm f/2.8

Don't let distance get in the way of your creativity! With its versatile focal length range, constant f/2.8 aperture, fast autofocus, and impressive close-up capabilities, this compact 70-180mm telephoto lens captures great shots both near and far.

Universal telephoto zoom
Lightness, versatility, brightness and quiet operation: the NIKKOR 70-180mm f/2.8 lens is ideal for capturing candid scenes in all circumstances. Capture flattering portraits, capture the intimacy of an urban scene, reveal every nuance of a contrasting landscape, immerse yourself in the action or take close-ups of wildlife against beautifully blurred backgrounds. Nothing stops this goal.

Constant bright aperture of f/2.8
Use the constant f/2.8 aperture to capture low-light shots with reduced sensitivity, or go for faster shutter speeds to freeze the action. Adjust your aperture and shutter speed settings once, then zoom and crop your composition across the entire 70-180mm focal length range without changing exposure. The f/2.8 aperture is also ideal for making your portraits stand out against a slightly out-of-focus background.

Sharp close-ups
Thanks to the very short focusing distances, this versatile telephoto lens allows you to shoot close-up without sacrificing sharpness. When shooting at the shortest focal length (70mm), the minimum focusing distance is just 0.27m, and just 0.85m when zoomed to 180mm.

Bridge the distance with Z teleconverters
Add one of the lightweight Z-series teleconverters to the NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8 to extend your reach and become the macro master. The Z TELECONVERTER TC-2.0x offers a maximum focal length of 360mm and doubles the reproduction ratio of the lens to achieve a near life-size magnification factor of 0.96×. With the Z TELECONVERTER TC-1.4x you can zoom up to 252mm.

Cinematic video shots
With its variable reach, silent focusing, and focus-breathing suppression feature, the NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8 telephoto lens is also an excellent lens for video. Get movie-quality shots easily. Use the lens' shallow depth of field to make your subjects stand out when shooting close-up shots from a distance, or create a parallax effect with longer focal lengths.

An agile telephoto lens
At 795g (approximately) and 151mm long, this telephoto zoom combines agility and speed. It fits perfectly with Nikon Z cameras, is easy to carry thanks to its compact size and allows you to try new points of view during your sessions. Finally, since it won't weigh down your bag, this telephoto lens will always be close at hand.

Great mobility
As practical as it is portable, the NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8 is as portable as other telephoto zooms. Its foolproof sealing prevents dust and water droplets from entering the barrel so you can go out whatever the weather. The anti-smudge treatment of the front lens facilitates cleaning.

Intuitive handling
The smooth, quiet adjustment ring can be customized to suit the way you shoot, while the knurled zoom ring provides a stable grip when zooming. The zoom lock control keeps the lens in the 70mm position to prevent movement when not in use.
