Ultra-compact wide-angle zoom for mirrorless cameras
Here, there, wherever life takes you. With a versatile focal range, this fast-focus wide-angle zoom is a great all-around lens. Whether it's daily explorations or great adventures, you have plenty of time to create amazing photos and videos, moment after moment.
Thanks to its large Nikon Z mount, this DX mirrorless camera lens captures both wide-angle scenes and portraits with more detail, depth and color. Uncover all the beauty of urban horizons. Take natural group photos or vivid street photos that portray the atmosphere of the moment. Try this lens for movies: the stability will amaze you.
Interior scenes
The wide-angle end of the focal length range is suitable for shooting in confined spaces. The minimum focus distance of just 0.2m lets you focus precisely on close-up details.
Moments on the spot
Whether you're shooting bold expressions or fleeting gestures, you'll be able to capture even the smallest detail in low light conditions. The natural bokeh ensures pleasantly blurred backgrounds.
Videos you'll love
This lens allows you to switch from wide shots to close-ups with ease. You'll achieve crisp, steady 4K footage, even if you're shooting while walking.
Whether it's still photos or videos, this NIKKOR Z lens excels in the moment. The vibration reduction function built into the lens lets you use shutter speeds up to 4.5 times slower, so you can take sharper photos at sunset, or shoot without the undesirable effects of camera shake. Focusing is fast and almost silent.
Take control
The silent adjustment ring can be used for key functions like manual focus, aperture adjustment (a good choice for creating fades when recording video) or exposure compensation.
Be ready.
Never miss a photographic moment. The retractable lens mechanism (without button) is quick and easy to use. You just need to rotate the zoom ring to extend or retract the lens.
It's in the pocket
Ultra-compact in the retracted position, this DX mirrorless camera zoom weighs just 135 grams. When you retract it, it locks into place so it doesn't accidentally deploy.
