Leica Summilux-M 35/f1.4 ASPH.
Compact and bright
Versatility is our benchmark
Life is full of surprises. The Summilux-M 35 f/1.4 ASPH is the ideal lens to capture the authenticity of the moment. With its standard reportage focal length, wide-angle quality and discreet dimensions, this lens will accompany you on your travels and master the challenges that make life varied and exciting. Whether it's a sharp image at close range, detailed landscapes or high-contrast shots, even in difficult lighting conditions.
176° from 40 cm to infinity
The Summilux-M 35 f/1.4 ASPH. is not only easy to use, it allows you to get as close as 40 cm, without compromising on performance or precision settings. This is made possible by Leica's specially developed dual-cam device, which has almost doubled the rotation angle of the distance ring compared to the previous model, to 176°.
The high angle of rotation allows confident and precise control focusing over the entire focus adjustment range. For distances up to 70 cm, the focus is determined and controlled as usual via the rangefinder for all digital and analog M cameras. Then, after a subtle resistance in the dial, the extended focus range between 70 and 40 cm can be precisely determined via the liveview on the monitor, the external Visoflex viewfinder or the Leica FOTOS app.
For even faster and more flexible operation, the lens hood is integrated into the lens and can be mounted and removed at any time. This compact M lens is totally versatile - easy to handle, nothing is too much trouble.
Extensive possibilities while maintaining compactness
In addition to the extended minimum focusing distance and the integrated lens hood, the new Summilux-M 35 f/1.4 ASPH. offers significantly improved bokeh compared to its predecessor, with eleven diaphragm blades instead of the usual nine. The engineers implemented all these new features without compromising on the size of the lens. For extensive possibilities in a compact design.
