A look shaped by Leica heritage

Drawing from decades of Leica optical development, HEKTOR lenses reinterpret the aesthetics of optics from the 1930s, 1950s, and 1970s, combined with Petzval-style behavior. The 18 mm produces:

• subtle edge fall-off,

• gentle spherical aberrations,

• warm and natural skin tones.

Modern coatings ensure reduced chromatic aberration and improved flare handling, offering a balance between expressiveness and reliability.
