Laowa Venus 17mm f/4 GFX Zero-D Lens

The Laowa 17mm f / 4 GFX Zero-D is the first lens compatible with Fujifilm G-mount medium format hybrids to offer such a wide angle of view. Notice to lovers of landscapes and architecture, this perspective will satisfy them.

The Laowa 17mm is composed of 21 elements divided into 14 groups, it incorporates two aspherical lenses and 3 very low dispersion elements to limit chromatic aberrations. It provides a "Zero-D" distortion close to zero to best suit architectural photography, indoors, but also landscapes and astrophotography. A 5-blade diaphragm has been specially designed to create 10-branch starburst or sunburst effects for a more aesthetic rendering of light points.

With its small focusing distance of only 20 cm, it can get as close as possible to its subject for a particular rendering. Focusing of the Laowa 17mm f / 4 GFX Zero-D is manual only.

The 17mm f / 4 GFX Zero-D brings an 86mm thread for the filters, a practical feature for those who enjoy landscape photography in particular. On the other hand, and as often with this type of optics, the 17mm f / 4 GFX Zero-D is not equipped with autofocus, nor electronic connectors. The EXIF ​​information will therefore not be filled in.
