The Canon EOS C50 pairs a new 7K full-frame sensor with modern production tools in a palm-friendly body. 3:2 Open Gate, Cinema RAW Light up to 7K/60P, 4K/120P, Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, simultaneous 2K crop recording for socials, native Frame.io Camera-to-Cloud, and IP control via XC Protocol over Wi-Fi or USB-C Ethernet. The detachable top handle adds two full-size XLRs, REC button and zoom rocker. In Photo mode, capture up to 32 MP stills at 40 fps.

Autofocus & sensitivity you can trust

Dual Pixel CMOS AF II covers ~100% of the frame with subject/face/eye detection (humans & animals, including birds) and left/right eye priority. Dual Base ISO (800/6400 in Canon Log 2) preserves 15+ stops DR in full frame (up to 16 stops in S35) with Auto Selection switching.

Network-ready, multi-delivery

Simultaneous crop recording: when in 4K DCI/UHD, also record a 2K crop in 9:17, 9:16 or 1:1 to accelerate mobile deliverables. Frame.io C2C sends proxies straight from camera. XC Protocol and SRT enable IP control/streaming, plus Canon Remote/Multi-Camera apps.

Compact design, pro audio

The smallest, lightest Cinema EOS: low-profile for gimbals/rigs and tight spaces. The top handle provides 2x XLR (48V) along with HDMI Type-A, timecode DIN, USB-C (UVC/UAC), mic in and headphone out.
