Sony Alpha 7CR Black

61 MP Exmor R sensor

The Alpha 7R V's sensor is a back-illuminated CMOS (Exmor R) in 24 x 36 mm format with 61 megapixels. In addition to this extreme definition, it offers an exceptional dynamic range of 15 EV, guaranteeing a remarkable rendering of landscapes and architectural subjects such as portraits. It retains high sensitivity, with a native range reaching ISO 32,000 (expandable to ISO 102,400 in stills).

Extreme autofocus

The sensor has no less than 693 detection points for phase correlation autofocus, covering 79% of the frame. This makes it possible to place the AF point or track a moving subject over almost the entire frame.

The use of a chipset dedicated to artificial intelligence boosts the autofocus capacity of the box. Instead of looking directly for the eye or the face the AI analyzes the body posture (of human, animal, insect, bird) and determines the position of the face or the eye from the latter allowing you to never lose focus on your subject. The new updates allow the same type of analysis to be performed on planes, trains, and cars. The assembly ensures efficient and effective focusing, even in sports or wildlife photography. Even better: these functions are also available for video, to ensure that your films have impeccable clarity on your subjects.

Bursts at 8 fps

You capture exceptional and unique professional photos thanks to Sony imaging and the multiple settings available. Equipped with a Sony E mount, the camera is compatible with a wide range of high quality lenses in stills and video. It is capable of tracking continuous shooting at 8 fps in mechanical shutter and 7 fps in electronic shutter. For storage, a slot compatible with UHS-I and UHS-II SD cards is available.

Advanced video and Vlog features

Record stunning video in 4K 4:2:2 10bit up to 60p or Full HD 4:2:2 10bit up to 120p. S-CINETONE and S-LOG 3 picture profiles will give your images a cinematic look. You can activate the Focus Breathing compensation function. Also, the digital audio interface allows the use of Sony professional microphones. The Sony A7C II embeds Sony's latest Vlog features such as Auto-Framing, time-lapse integrated into the case or even the simplified "vlog menu" interface.

Vari-angle touchscreen and OLED viewfinder

You have a 2.36 million dot OLED viewfinder and a 3-inch swivel and touch screen. The screen can be aimed at the subject which is a major advantage when filming yourself. The screen is touch sensitive. In addition, the menus have been redesigned to make your user experience easier.

Intuitive interface

The new simplified VLOG menu is available on this device, facilitating access to common settings during VLOG-type recording.
