Capturing four times the detail of 4K, the EOS R5 C delivers incredible 8K footage at up to 30fps. Using an external power supply, the EOS R5 C delivers 8K at 60 fps, opening up a whole new range of creative possibilities in post-production. The full-frame 8K sensor can also be used to upsample 4K or Full HD video, producing exceptional clarity with low noise.

4K at 120 fps, with autofocus and audio
In addition to its powerful 8K capabilities, the EOS R5 C can also capture 4K content at up to 120 fps for total immersion in slow motion with stunning detail. When recording in this mode, the EOS R5 C retains the Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus feature to ensure every frame is in sharp focus. In addition, audio recording can also be enabled when recording at high frame rates.

Dual-base ISO
The EOS R5 C is the first EOS Cinema Camera to offer Dual Base ISO functionality. Dual Base ISO increases sensitivity and reduces noise when shooting in low light. ISO 800/3200 options are available for Canon Log 3 mode shooting and ISO 400/1600 for BT.709 Wide DR, PQ and HLG mode shooting. Selecting the base ISO value best suited for a certain lighting scenario ensures optimal dynamic range and low noise, but if preferred, users can opt for "auto selection" instead, so the camera automatically and intuitively changes the base ISO value.

Incredible 45-megapixel photos at up to 20fps
The 45-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor captures incredible clarity, low noise and wide dynamic range with burst speeds of up to 20fps and ISO sensitivities of up to ISO 51,200. Auto exposure bracketing offers consistent exposure options while an interval counter allows for creative time-lapse photography.

The Canon EOS R5 C's full-frame sensor and DIGIC X processor work in unison to deliver high-quality, 45-megapixel images at up to 20fps with the electronic shutter or 12fps with the mechanical shutter. In addition, the EOS R5 C's photo mode features Canon's renowned Dual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus technology, organic warm color science, and ISO sensitivity of up to ISO 52,000, making the EOS R5 C an exceptional solution for professional photography.

Professional Image Formats
Since the EOS R5 C shares the same architecture as the EOS R system, it can capture images in a variety of professional file formats, including RAW, C-RAW and JPEG. 10-bit HEIF images can also be captured with a wider dynamic range and better color reproduction, thanks to the use of HDR PQ gamma and the BT.2020 color space.

Time-lapse photos
The EOS R5 C's Interval Counter function can be set to capture a certain number of images within a given time frame. This function is ideal for creating professional time-lapse sequences. In addition, it is also possible to set custom image modes such as Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority or Auto ISO, giving you full creative control to create breathtaking time-lapse content.
