ZV-E10 II
Unleash your creativity
Exmor R™ CMOS Sensor
The ZV-E10 II features Sony’s most advanced sensor technology, with an APS-C-sized back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor. Boasting 26.0 megapixels of resolution, it captures excellent image quality with higher sensitivity and less noise, even in low-light conditions.
The new BIONZ XR™ image-processing engine
With up to eight times the real-time processing power of its predecessors, the new BIONZ XR image-processing engine delivers extraordinary detail and sharpness in both stills and movies. The standard ISO range extends from 100 to 32,000, providing an ideal combination of high sensitivity and low noise. Finally, with super-fast playback, 5.6K oversampling compresses a huge amount of information into stunning 4K 60p video (QFHD: 3840 x 2160).
Bring your vision to life right in-camera
Creative Rendering makes it easy to create expressive moods for your photos and videos right in-camera. Ten creative renderings are available as presets that can be used as is or customized with a series of adjustable parameters. Try My Picture Style for even more expressive possibilities. When shooting in iAUTO or Mode Selection, you can easily adjust background bokeh, brightness, and color tone using the touchscreen icons. This feature lets you adjust settings intuitively to create expressive images without having to worry about technical details like aperture, exposure compensation, or color temperature.
Cinematic Expression
The Cinematic Vlog setting lets you intuitively create cinematic vlogs without the need for complex settings. With a selection of looks and moods, anyone can create cinematic-quality vlogs that perfectly match the scene and reflect their creative intent. The Cinematic Vlog setting offers a variety of looks, such as S-Cinetone™, which enhances skin tones, moods, which emphasize particular colors, and AF transition speed, which determines how quickly the AF switches from one subject to another.
Interchangeable Lenses to Capture Your Vision
The ZV-E10 II is compatible with a wide range of Sony E-mount lenses, from the G Master™ series, which combines stunning resolution with exquisite bokeh, to the G Lens™ series, which delivers excellent image quality. The ZV-E10 II kit comes with the versatile E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II lens.
Clear, Beautiful Skin Tones
The colors and textures of human skin are perfectly rendered in any lighting, and are independently optimized for both stills and movies. Gradation rendering has also been refined, achieving more beautiful skin tones and smoother transitions to highlights in portraits. In addition, the Smooth Skin Effect smoothes out wrinkles and blemishes on the subject while clarifying the contours of the eyes and mouth, for beautiful skin. The Face-Priority AE function automatically maintains optimal exposure of faces, even in backlit or low-light conditions.
Capture fleeting expressions and scenes with ease
Capture movement with new creative freedom with S&Q modes.20 The ZV-E10 II can shoot 5x slow motion movies, taking advantage of 120fps capture for 24p playback and high-quality XAVC-S Full HD. You can also create time-lapse sequences in-camera. These are particularly effective for capturing the movement of people, cities or clouds thanks to the time compression technique. The exposure interval can be set from 1 to 60 seconds, making it easy to compress slow-moving action into impressive time-lapse sequences. When capturing photos, the camera's electronic shutter can be used for burst shooting at up to 11fps with full AF/AE tracking, allowing you to capture even the most fleeting movements and expressions.
Phase-detection AF with 759-point high-density focal plane
The new BIONZ XR image processing engine and optimized algorithms deliver significantly improved autofocus performance. The 759-point phase-detection array in a high-density focal plane covers nearly the entire image area for smooth, precise focusing.
Steady handheld shooting
Active mode electronic image stabilization uses a precise gyro sensor and an advanced algorithm to accurately measure and compensate for camera shake, ensuring highly effective stabilization without compromising mobility, even when shooting in 4K. Standard and active stabilization settings can be selected to suit your needs via the menu. With compatible lenses, focus breathing compensation automatically corrects for slight changes in viewing angle, for professional, distraction-free focusing.
Optimized Audio for Filming and Editing
The ZV-E10 II comes with a simple windscreen to reduce noise when shooting outdoors. Its Multi Interface (MI) Shoe supports multiple digital audio interfaces to transfer high-quality data to the camera with minimal degradation using microphones such as the optional ECM series.
Intelligent 3-Capsule Microphone
The advanced 3-capsule microphone delivers excellent pickup and noise reduction performance, making it easier than ever to record clear, high-quality audio. Select Auto or choose from Front, Rear, or All Directions to suit a variety of recording environments and situations.
Touch Operation for Vertical, Horizontal, or Selfie Shooting
The vari-angle LCD screen makes it easy to shoot from any angle. Swiping in from the left or right edge of the shooting screen reveals touch icons that allow you to quickly change the shooting mode and other settings. The function menu (Fn) is displayed by swiping upwards.
S-Log3 Gamma for Extra-Wide Dynamic Range
The wide dynamic range of S-Log3 recording optimizes captured footage and provides flexible post-processing for professional-quality video.
4K 60p/10-bit 4:2:2 All-Intra
The ZV-E10 II supports multiple recording formats, including 10-bit 4:2:2 video and All-Intra compression at resolutions up to 4K 60p16. For professional workflows, user LUT files can be imported to save the desired look directly in-camera, increasing efficiency and reliability in post-production in software such as Catalyst Browse, Catalyst Prepare Plugin, and Master Cut.
C1 (Custom Button 1) and Bokeh Effect
The C1 (Custom Button 1) button can be assigned to a frequently used function for quick, one-touch access during shooting or playback. By default, it is set to the Bokeh effect, which lets you easily and instantly increase background blur to emphasize your main subject. Pressing the button again turns off the Bokeh effect for clear, sharp shots of landscapes or city scenes.
Vertical Format Support
The layout of the shooting information displayed on the screen automatically changes depending on whether the camera is horizontal or vertical, to perfectly suit your needs in any situation.
Product Overview, Custom Functions and Easy Transfers
Designed to make vlogging easier, the ZV-E10 II features customisable buttons preset to functions such as Product Overview mode. When this feature is enabled, simply hold a product in front of the lens and the camera will smoothly focus on it, before returning to your face when you move the product away. Other frequently used functions can be assigned to the Fn (Function) menu, enabling you to activate them with the touch of a button at the right moment. Once you’ve finished shooting, the Smartphone Transfer button in Playback mode allows you to quickly and wirelessly transfer images to your smartphone and favourite social media sites in just a few steps.
