Fujifilm X-T50 XF16-50mm Kit Charcoal Silver

The X-T50 has a compact and lightweight body and weighs approximately 438 grams. It is equipped with the 40.2 megapixel "X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR" sensor, the fast "X-Processor 5" image processing engine and an in-body image stabilization function (IBIS ) on 5 axes and up to 7.0 stops. It is a versatile model offering high image quality and performance as well as great mobility. Combined with the new standard zoom lens "FUJINON XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR", it's a combo suitable for all situations.

Additionally and for the first time, a film simulations dial has been placed on the top plate of the body, allowing the user to easily choose between "film simulations", an important feature typical of Fujifilm and allowing great variety of colors.

(1)  High image quality and performance thanks to a powerful sensor and fast image processor
The fifth generation of the X Series features the 40.2-megapixel back-illuminated X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR sensor. The latest image processing algorithm provides high resolution while maintaining a high signal-to-noise ratio.

Improved pixel structure helps capture more light more efficiently. Normal sensitivity was set to ISO 125. In addition, the electronic shutter can be set to a maximum shutter speed of 1/180000 sec, allowing very precise control of exposure time. Shooting at a wide aperture  can be done in a wide range of scenes.

Equipped with an AI-based autofocus system for subject detection, developed with deep learning technology. The camera can detect animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, planes, trains, insects and drones. Additionally, the camera is equipped with a more advanced autofocus prediction algorithm than previous models. This allows you to take photos  of a wide range of subjects, including cars and fast-moving animals.

A total of 20 "Video Simulation" modes are available for the X-T50, including "REALA ACE", which combines true-to-life color reproduction and sharp color gradations. You can use a wide variety of color expressions depending on your subject or scene.

With the digital teleconverter function, images can be enlarged by 1.4x and 2x.

(2) Improved functions
The camera is also equipped with an in-body 5-axis image stabilization function with a maximum of 7.0 stops. While maintaining the dexterity of previous models, this function allows comfortable handheld shooting even in dark scenes such as night scenes, greatly extending the shooting range.

・6.2K/30P video recording is possible. AF tracking function during video recording is also available for high-quality video recording.

The camera can operate in AUTO mode, which detects the scene and automatically selects optimal shooting settings, by simply operating the AUTO mode change lever located on the top of the body. The camera automatically detects the subject and tracks it while maintaining focus, making it easy to take high-quality photos and videos.

(3) Sophisticated product design with ultimate functional beauty

The round design of the case is new. The new handle shape fits the hand comfortably while maintaining a compact size, resulting in high grip performance.

・The brand new “film simulation dial” is placed on the top plate. It allows users to intuitively switch between different film simulation modes depending on the subject or scene, allowing them to conveniently choose between different color tones for still and moving images.

A pop-up flash integrated into the viewfinder is mounted on the top plate. It automatically controls the amount of light and demonstrates its usefulness in dark scenes and backlit portraits.

The new model features a 1.84 million pixel tilting LCD screen on the back of the device. In addition, the shape of the grip and the layout of the buttons on the back of the camera have been refined to enable more comfortable shooting, both for still and moving images.
