Subject Detection AF
The X-Processor 5 features Subject Detection AF based on deep learning AI technology. In addition to delivering incredible AF tracking and detection for human faces and eyes, the FUJIFILM X-M5 can also automatically detect and track a wide range of subjects, including animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, planes, trains, insects and drones.

Advanced AF Technology
The FUJIFILM X-M5 features Fujifilm’s latest Predictive Algorithm, which records subjects with extremely accurate autofocus, even in scenes that require tracking moving objects or in low-contrast environments. The FUJIFILM X-M5 supports in-camera SD card recording at 6.2K/30p 4:2:2 10-bit, as well as high-quality 4K/60p and 1080/240p video recording in a compact, lightweight body.

Digital Image Stabilization

Microphone Direction Adjustment

Noise Reduction Adjustment
The new microphones offer more than just directional control: a versatile noise reduction function has also been added. It is now possible to reduce noise that continues at a constant frequency, such as air conditioning or wind noise.

Short Film Mode
The FUJIFILM X-M5 features a new Short Film Mode that allows you to create social media-friendly content that is easy to share on various social media platforms. 15-, 30- or 60-second clips can be recorded in a 9:16 vertical format without having to turn the camera sideways. An on-screen timer makes it easy to see the remaining time while recording.

Share content quickly
The FUJIFILM X-M5 offers a choice of low bitrates of 8 Mbps and 25 Mbps. Choosing these speeds minimises the time it takes to transfer files to smartphones and other devices, allowing you to quickly upload content. Plus, a USB-C connection enables high-speed transfer of video files of 4 GB or more to Android and iOS devices.

FAN-001 Cooling Fan
The FUJIFILM X-M5 is compatible with Fujifilm’s FAN-001 cooling fan, which attaches to the back of the camera and extends continuous video recording times. No additional cables are required.
