The 18mm setting is ideal for selfies, and the 50mm setting for portraits and snapshots. Finally, the maximum apertures of F1.8 for wide-angle and F4 for telephoto allow to obtain a smooth background bokeh, for a welcome touch of atmosphere.

Creative colors
No experience is necessary to make impressive vlogs with polished visuals. My Picture Style9 lets you adjust brightness and color while viewing what you want to shoot, without having to navigate through any menus. For shots where more creative color and mood are in order, Creative Rendering offers ten presets; choose the one that matches your vision.

Give relief to your vlogs
No more editing in post-production: transform everyday moments into cinema-quality images with just a touch of the screen. With the Cinematic Vlog setting, the camera automatically shoots in the industry standard Cinemascope aspect ratio at 24fps. Then add the ultimate touch to the colors of your video: select one of five looks (LOOK) and one of four moods (MOOD) to achieve a professional result in the blink of an eye. With three levels of focus speed, the Autofocus Transition Speed setting helps bring the subject into focus at the perfect pace to add depth to your scene.

Take photos with professional quality
The compact and lightweight ZV-1 II does not compromise on image quality. Its large 1.0-type image sensor delivers pro-level video, with XAVC S format images in 4K resolution at up to 30p or up to 120p in Full HD resolution for expressive slow motion. It also supports simultaneous proxy recording to optimize post-production work.

Impressive image quality
The ZV-1 II's compact body is equipped with a large 1.0-type Exmor RS™ CMOS image sensor developed by Sony. This stacked image sensor houses a dedicated DRAM microchip for ultra-fast data processing of approximately 20.1 effective megapixels. The result is high-resolution, high-sensitivity imaging, significantly superior to that of a standard smartphone.

Real-time tracking
Focus is reliable. Activate real-time tracking to follow the subject of your choice. In addition to facial information, the device recognizes colors, brightness and distance to the subject to track it and let you focus on the best shooting angles. Simply touch the subject on the screen to activate touch tracking for precise focus tracking.

Precise autofocus
The ZV-1 II automatically focuses. Able to recognize human faces and eyes, it follows the main subject without deviating to other subjects. Eye AF can even be set to track animal faces and eyes.

Always to your advantage
Look your best every time you shoot. With no special adjustments, the ZV-1 II brings out the natural look of your complexion. Face priority auto exposure (AE) automatically brightens your face. So you don't have to worry about the lighting. Off / Low / Medium or High, the smooth skin effect allows you to adjust your skin texture.

Powerful image stabilization
A shaky video can ruin the best vlog. The ZV-1 II is designed to let you capture great footage, even when walking and shooting handheld. Active mode reduces blur caused by camera shake, for more stable shots without any post-processing.

Designed for crystal clear vocal recording
Capturing high quality sound is even easier with the ZV-1 II. In [Auto] mode, when the device detects a human face in the frame, the new built-in smart three-capsule mic adapts the orientation of the audio pickup from [Omni-directional] to [Front]. You can also adapt it manually by selecting [Front] for selfies or [Rear] for shots accompanied by a narration. In addition, the included windscreen helps reduce wind noise and provide crisp sound when shooting outdoors.

Large selection of audio options
Improve audio quality even further by connecting an external microphone. The compact ECM-G1 shotgun microphone, for example, captures sound from the front of the device with great clarity and is easily attached without cables. You can also opt for one of the many microphones from the Sony range, designed to adapt to a multitude of applications and offer a new dimension to your vlogging.

Evolves with your creativity
With the ZV-1 II, developing video skills is child's play. Just like the professional Cinema Line or α models, the ZV-1 II supports both S-Log3 and S-Gamut3.Cine picture profiles, allowing you to optimize the captured dynamic range and benefit from greater flexibility in post-production.

Simple and intuitive controls
Even neophytes and first-time vloggers can easily get started shooting with the ZV-1 II; it does not require complex settings. Touch controls, such as recording, self-timer, and product overview, appear on the main screen and are easily activated. This is especially useful for taking selfies or when you can't reach the physical buttons on the device.

Built-in neutral density (ND) filter
The ZEISS® Vario-Sonnar T* 18 – 50 mm F1.8 – 4 zoom lens is specially designed for mobile vlogging. Featuring a built-in Neutral Density (ND) filter, it provides exposure control over three stops, giving images greater expressiveness in bright light. The lens maintains sharpness throughout the zoom range and lets you capture all the shots you need to bring your vlogs to life.

Simplified selfies
Let the ZV-1 II take care of the technical aspects and immortalize your great group moments. When you take selfies in iAUTO mode with two or three people, the camera automatically adjusts settings to keep all faces sharp and clear.

Know when you save
Never miss the action. When you press the MOVIE button or the recording icon on the LCD screen, the indicator light turns red while a red frame appears on the screen. You know you're saving what matters. The swivel screen lets you follow the recording from all angles.

Touch the screen to make your subject stand out
The ZV-1 II is designed to make content creation easy. Activate the Product Showcase function with a single touch. The device automatically focuses on the product you are holding: no other gestures are necessary. You can also opt for a slightly blurred background via the Bokeh selector: select [Bokeh Effect] to isolate the main subject against a blurred background, or [Sharp] for sharp focus throughout the image.

Choose the best scene
Transfer only the necessary scenes to save time and storage space. Adding a shot mark allows you to trim a video clip of 15, 30 or 60 s to send it to a smartphone. Shot marks then make it easy to find the scenes to use, saving you a lot of time.

Simple connection with smartphones
Connecting your device and smartphone has never been easier with the Creators' App mobile app. Data transfer continues in the background, even if the smartphone screen is idle or another application is launched. You can also turn your smartphone or PC into a remote control to control the device remotely.

Simplified streaming
Turn the ZV-1 II into a high-quality webcam by simply connecting it to a compatible device via USB. The large 1.0-type image sensor and the Creative Render function ensure vivid images.

Log in to Creators' Cloud to get the most out of Sony's production support tools. This gives you access to cloud services such as Master Cut (Beta), which leverages device metadata and cloud-based AI to produce edited drafts of films, saving valuable time.
