The ColorChecker Passport Video 2 contains four targets: The 24-patch ColorChecker Classic target used to create custom camera profiles for photographers shooting in RAW, the Neutral Gray target for in-camera white balance, and two video targets for use with zebras, vectorscope and RGB histogram video settings, all in a rugged, pocket-sized protective case.

Enhanced to achieve ideal camera exposure specific to video production. The grayscale test pattern includes 3 bands: White, Gray 40 IRE, and Gloss Black.

Passport protection case
The ColorChecker Passport Video 2 has been designed to be very practical and portable, so you can take it with you every time you shoot. The passport-sized protective case is made from a sturdy resin that protects the four charts against the elements, and extends their lifespan.

The protective passport case creates a tripod for standing and adjusts to multiple positions, allowing you to place charters exactly where you need them. Use the identification sticker to label your passport and write your personalized message. The included lanyard ensures your passport stays within reach for every shot.

Classic sight 24 patches
Shooting the ColorChecker Classic chart, the industry standard, is an important step in achieving consistent, predictable colors when shooting. When combined with camera calibration software, you can create custom DNG or ICC profiles of your camera's response to scene lighting to achieve consistent, predictable, and repeatable results. one image to another and from one device to another.

The ColorChecker Classic also provides a visual color reference point so you can see exactly how tint corrections will affect the rest of your colors before applying them. Each of the 24 color patches represents the colors of natural objects, such as sky blue, skin tones and leaf green; and each patch reflects light just like its real-world counterpart. Each square is individually printed using a spot color to produce pure, even, rich color without patterns or mixed hues.

Case calibration software
Create custom DNG or ICC shooting profiles using the standard ColorChecker Classic 24-patch target or the ColorChecker Digital SG chart using the “ColorChecker Camera Calibration” camera calibration software or with the plug-in for Adobe Lightroom®.

This new case profiling technology provides excellent results with either benchmark chart, producing profiles that perform exceptionally well in virtually any lighting conditions. Auto-detection automatically locates the chart, making the profile creation process easier. Whether you're shooting with a single camera or multiple cameras, you'll easily establish an accurate color baseline and maintain color control.

DNG Dual-Illuminant Profiles
A dual illuminant profile combines images taken under two different light sources to create a single profile, which can then be applied to a wider range of lighting conditions. Dual-Illuminant profiles can be made with two of the 21 supported light sources, allowing you to switch from one lighting condition to another, without changing profiles.

White balance target
An accurate white balance is the starting point that will ensure the fidelity of the colors you capture and provides the baseline for your post production edits. This chart is manufactured to rigorous standards to be spectrally neutral and reflect light identically regardless of lighting conditions. It is a standardized neutral reference point to accurately compensate for different lighting conditions.

Note: If you shoot in Raw, you can take a photo of the chart whenever you want. In JPEG, you will use it on the first take.

“Why not use something white?”
Doing a white balance with a sheet of paper, a T-shirt or another gray element in the scene may seem like a good idea, but in fact the vast majority of objects are not neutral in different lighting conditions . And they are not stable or consistent.

Improper white balance results in color shifts and lack of consistency when lighting conditions change. This can seriously slow down your post-processing when trying to correct color casts.
